Bedford Arts Collective Artist and Member Meeting
Join us for our upcoming Bedford Arts Collective meeting! This gathering is open to artists, members, potential members, and supporters who believe in growing the arts in our community.
We’ll be reviewing all upcoming events for May and June, discussing show details, and exploring additional fundraising opportunities to help us continue bringing meaningful art experiences to Shelbyville and Bedford County.
Artists planning to participate in upcoming shows are strongly encouraged to attend, as we’ll be sharing important information and updates to ensure everyone is prepared and set up for success.
If you believe in what we’re building together, we also welcome financial support of any size. Even small donations make a big difference and help us continue offering art shows and creative opportunities for our community.
We look forward to seeing you there and continuing to grow something beautiful together.
Hometown Inspiration Art Show by Bedford Arts Collective
Join us in the beautiful courtyard on Shelbyville’s town square for an outdoor art show March 28th celebrating the meaning of “hometown.” Local artists will share original works inspired by the places, people, memories, and stories that shaped them — whether it’s Shelbyville, a grandparent’s small town, a favorite childhood spot, or a treasured hometown tradition.Come walk the courtyard, experience the stories behind the art, and celebrate the community we call home. Because no matter where we’re from… we all carry a hometown in our hearts.
Mini Mixer: Monochromatic
A focused show celebrating the power of a single hue. Pieces will be primarily one color, highlighting value, contrast, and creativity. Come to the opening reception, and catch the exhibit in-store At the Artist’s Hoard for several weeks afterward.

Bedford Arts Collective – Art in the Park Planning Meeting
All participating artists are strongly encouraged to attend this important planning meeting as we prepare for Art in the Park. We will be going over event logistics in detail, including setup requirements, booth spaces, display needs, timelines, and what each artist is responsible for bringing to ensure a smooth and successful outdoor event.
This meeting is essential to make sure every artist has what they need to confidently set up, present their work professionally, and thrive in an outdoor setting. We’ll also cover problem-solving for weather, layout, marketing efforts, and ways we can support each other as a collective.
Your participation helps ensure not only your own success, but the overall success of Art in the Park. Let’s come prepared, ask questions, and work together to create a beautiful and seamless event for our community.
Coffee Break Change Over
The Coffee Break Changeover is our scheduled transition between exhibits at Coffee Break. During this time, participating artists will pick up their currently displayed artwork and deliver new pieces for the upcoming exhibit.
This process allows us to keep the gallery space fresh, engaging, and beautifully curated for the community. Artists are asked to bring ready-to-hang Original artwork with 3M adhesives and printed labels. (no prints)
The Changeover is an important part of keeping our rotating exhibits organized and vibrant, while giving artists consistent opportunities to showcase new work.
Please be sure to check the posted schedule for the next Changeover date and confirm that you will be available to pick up your artwork at that time. Timely pickup is essential to keep the exhibit rotation running smoothly and to respect the hosting space.
