I am an elderly (ouch!), self- taught wife, mother, nana, and grandnana. I took art classes in high school and realized I had some artistic ability. I have worked with pastels, charcoal, pen and ink, and water color but oils are my passion. I have painted all my life in spurts but life seemed to always get in the way.

When the Bedford Arts Collective formed it gave me the opportunity to have an outlet to show my work. I am so grateful. I have been painting feverishly ever since. I am inspired to paint things that I know, places I have been, and things I like.

This showing of my work is of places I have personally visited throughout my life. I worked from photographs that I took and my memories of those places.
